2015 NIAA Northern Region Division 1 Baseball, Carson High vs. Damonte Ranch High, April 23, 2015
Wow, what a game tonight at Carson High! I think this one had a little of everything (including rain…) and for the Carson fans, the Senators took a win away from what was the only undefeated team in the North State! The Senators won tonight 7-6 in the top of the 7th inning with Damonte leaving runners on base…
Here are some images from the night, check the galleries to the left under Current Events for more shots from the game.

2015 NIAA Northern Region Division 1 Baseball, Carson High vs. Bishop Manogue, April 6, 2015
The Bishop Manogue Miners visited Carson High tonight for the second game of the series… The Miners were quite aggressive with their base running tonight and took advantage of most every opportunity to put up a run they had. The Miners took the win at Carson tonight 10-3.
Here are a few shots from the night…
Not sure why exactly yet, I just like this shot…

2015 NIAA Northern Region Division 1 Baseball, Bishop Manogue vs. Carson High, April 4, 2015
Boy, what a game! Hits, runs, home runs, stolen bases and even an ejection! What a baseball game! Carson visited Bishop Manogue today for the first of their home and away series with the Miners and walked away with a win, 7-6. The Senators jumped out in front in the second inning 4-1 after their coach was ejected from the game… Pretty shockingly (at least to me…) the NIAA scheduled an umpire with a previous ejection of a Carson High Coach at the end of last season… it quickly looked very reminiscent of that evening last spring…. if you’re going to be an umpire you need to have patience and pretty thick skin…
The game went down the the 7th inning and Manogue was battling but Carson relief pitcher, Senior Brandon Allen was able to battle through and get the last outs needed to give Carson the win. The battle continues on Monday at 6:00 PM at Carson High. Hope to see you out there!
Here are some shots from today’s game…

Bishop Manogue Miner Pitcher Alec West-Guillen, LOVE his facial expressions when he’s pitching!Carson Senator Senior Brandon Allen leading his team onto the scoreboard in the second inning!
I always wonder what they’re saying… 🙂
Manogue has turf on the infield, the one thing photographically you loose when there’s no dirt infield is that little puff of dirt when the ball hits the glove… have to get that Monday night instead @ Carson.
Jesse Lopez fielding a ball in left field.
Brandon Allen tagging Anthony Galati out at third base.
I love Manogue’s scoreboard… makes a nice background for Webb Charles as he throws to first for an out.
The forces of baseball… even on a young person’s arm… love the face Connor Pradere, so much focus!
Senior Senator Brandon Allen getting it done on the mound…
I love side arm guys… they’re body goes into the most graceful of positions… he looks like the π (pi) symbol to me… even has the little kick up of the front foot… 🙂 Manogue Pitcher Benjamin Rawlins.
2014-2015 NBA D-League, Reno Bighorns vs. Bakersfield Jam, March 31, 2015
With nothing on the line but pride (Reno has been eliminated from a playoff opportunity), the Reno Bighorns let the legs of “The System” run on the Bakersfield Jam and they ran away with a victory 131-105. The Bighorns looked to be running on all cylinders with Coby Karl and David Stockton both recording triple doubles (both with 26 points)! Dar Tucker led the Bighorns in scoring with 29 points. Sim Bhullar contributed 19 points and five blocked shots. What a great “last of the season” home victory for the Bighorns!
Here are some image from the night. I set up two remotes tonight, one in the catwalks above and one behind the backboard. I’m a little sad to see the season come to a close, seems like it just started… already looking forward to next season! Go Bighorns!

2014-2015 NBA D-League, Reno Bighorns vs. Texas Legends, March 28, 2015
The Bighorns easily defeated the Texas Legends tonight, 161-127. Dar Tucker tied the NBA D-League scoring record tonight with 58 (!!!) points! The Bighorns last home game is coming up Tuesday, March 31st. Get out and see the Bighorns for their last home game!
2014-2015 NBA D-League, Reno Bighorns vs. Sioux Falls Skyforce, March 25, 2015
The Bighorns almost pulled off a huge upset of the Central Division’s First Place Sioux Falls Skyforce (121-118). The game went back and forth and neither team ever got much of a lead but in the end, with the Bighorns down Quincy Miller, Jordan Hamilton, David Wear (all called up to the NBA…) and David Stockton out for family reasons… whew… the Bighorns ALMOST pulled off the upset! Here are some photos from the night… these remote shots from the night are MUCH better! 🙂
