The Nevada District 1 Little League Juniors Division Championship teams are set… Centennial will play Reno American Friday, July 12th at Governor’s Field in Carson City, NV. Game time is 7:30. Based on the first time these two teams faced each other yesterday, should be a good game!
Here’s some action from tonight’s action, Carson City vs. Reno American…
The Junior division started up last night on Field 1 at Governor’s Field in Carson City, NV. There are three teams in District 1, Carson City, Centennial and Reno American. Tonight Reno American faced Centennial… the game ended up going an extra inning! A good close battle that ended 8-10 in favor of the “visiting” Centennial. Carson City will face Reno American Thursday to decide who will play Centennial for the Championship on Friday.

Congratulations to the Reno Continental LL 12 year old’s!! They will represent Nevada’s District 1 at the State Tournament in Las Vegas! They went 4-0 in the tournament.
Reno Continental 12’s…
The third place game will be at 7:30 PM tomorrow night (same time as the Championship…) on Field 4 at Governor’s Field in Carson City… Tonight Reno American and Washoe battled for a place in the third place game against South Tahoe Little League… Washoe prevailed in six innings… the final score was 18-14!! WOW! Fun game, a lot of runs, home runs, etc…

The 11-12 year old Championship teams have been set! Reno Continental will face Carson Valley on Tuesday night at 7:30 on field 2 at Governor’s Field in Carson City, NV. Come on out and see who wins the Nevada District 1 Little League Championship!!
The Photo of the Day today was an easy pick for me! Devin pitched a complete game tonight for the Carson Valley 12’s to lead them into the Championship! He has reason to celebrate! 
The 10’s and 11’s have crowned their Champs… so now we’re onto just the 12’s at the park… and boy were there some battles tonight! WOW! If you’re not out at the park you’re missing some great games… and they’re free! Come on out to Governor’s Field in Carson City, NV to catch the rest of the tournament!

Whew, tonight is over! This is our seventh year doing either the Renegade/Hooligan Tournament (2008, 2012) or the All Star Tournament (2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013) and this is the first year we’ve had an official lightning delay! Fires popping up on the foothills around us tonight as the weather put on a light and sound show…. This of course pushed the evening very late… so just a quick post here….
Here’s the Photo of the Day, I can’t pass this one up, this was a game changing homer… South Tahoe’s 12’s team went into the top of the 7th inning tied 2-2 with Carson Valley… this homer and the next batter’s homer changed EVERYTHING at the field, it really deflated the Carson Valley team….
The Championships for the 9/10’s and the 10/11’s have been set! Congratulations to all the players, coaches, parents and leagues!

The tournament marches on! The weather looked a bit ominous tonight as I was setting up but it brought the temp down a lot and it turned out to be a very nice evening at the ball park!
